Dilston is a 10 acre campsite situated in an idylic location in the Northumberland countryside close to the historic town of Corbridge. The Devilswater river that gentle ambles through the site is a perfect location for exploring, water activities, wildlife or just enjoying its natural beauty.
The site has a hut with a large internal space and external decking, 2 bedrooms (6 bunks) and kitchen; ample hard standing car park and toilet and shower facilities.
It also has lovely camp fire areas with fixed seating for memorable nights around the fire and can be used for almost any scouting event large or small.
We have some great activity partners we are happy to recommend to add an extra special element to your booking; activities available include, Tomahawk Throwing, Archery, Paintball Ally, Stand up Paddle boarding (off site), Air rifle shooting.

2023 Camp fees are;
£4.00pppn – For scouts and guides / Building £85 / night
£4.25 pppn – For School D of E groups and youth groups. / Building £90/ night
The camping season runs from 1st April to October 30th each year – bookings can be made at anytime through the year
*****When booking it will ask for a pitch – select any pitch avaliable they are virtual for the booking system – 1 pitch allows 20 campers so if you have more coming book the relevant number of pitches in blocks upto 20 / pitch e.g 60 people would need 3 pitches – the site has a maximum capacity of 200 campers in total. If you cant book an item like the building it will already be booked for the dates you are trying. *****

Booking are monitored by volunteers please allow up to 7 working days for a reply to your booking.
We are unable to accept commercial, family or private bookings for camping at the site.
